Penguins of Madagascar Bento

Penguins Madagascar Bento (2)

I made the Baby Penguins of Madagascar Bento!

Hands up – who watched the super hilarious trailers of the upcoming Movie – Penguins of Madagascar? I was so super tickled by the trailers. I am definitely going to watch this animation in the theatres.

Totally fell in love with the baby versions of the Penguins of Madagascar. I can’t wait to watch the rest of the story of how these four awesome Penguins became THE Penguins of Madagascar and spy heros!

I told myself that I had to make the baby penguins versions in my Penguins of Madagascar Bento.

Private was so cute as a baby and of course the iconic Skipper, the leader of the four penguins!

As Private was of a lighter color than the rest of the 3 penguins as a baby, I used ground black sesame to make the dark patch for Private. For Skipper, I used seaweed to wrap the riceball.

The eyes were made from thin white egg sheet and seaweed and the beaks/feet were made from carrots.

Baby Penguins Madagascar Bento (3)The side dishes for today’s Penguins of Madagascar Bento were pan grilled salmon fillet, sauteed willow mushrooms, sauteed vegetables and lettuce.

To pack this bento, my Black+Blum Bento Box from Bento&co was a perfect fit.

Have a great start to the week, and here is the super cute trailer (there are a few more online) for you to enjoy!
