Was suddenly in the mood for some cute bento :)
Made a simple bento featuring Hello Kitty holding a bouquet – hope you like my bento :)
Shaped the head using my Hello Kitty rice mold (bought from Kinokuniya), and using cling wrap to shape the 2 arms to ‘hold’ the flora bouquet
Flora bouquet was made using a small broccoli flower, with small carrots and sweet bean peas.
Side dish include a fried egg which I cut out the sides using a oval cookie mold (the stray bits went to chef’s – my stomach LOL). Added a little cherry on top of the egg :) Added a small cocktail hotdog flower.
it was quite a feat as the egg was still a little runny inside so the surface was very delicate.
Also had a bed of vegetables that included sweet peas, cherry tomatoes and cucumber.
TGIF!
