Another quick bento today. I have not been able to get out of bed early these day.
So I decided to make a sleeping bunny – kind of like what I am feeling lately, sleepy. heheh.
The cute sleeping bunny was made from mashed potato. Simply mold and shape the mashed up potato into your desired shapes. Its like playing dough~ really easy.
The pasta was seasoned with garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, salt, chilli, parsley – the mushroom and sausages pasta was so yummy! (ate some of the extras~!) haha. I also grilled some asparagus to pack into my bento.
Today’s 2 tier natural wood bento box was bought stylestore in Japan. A little pricey, but I like its slim chic design.

Very cute! Wish I could curl up and sleep like this bunny too instead of having to wake up so early!

Do u add anything to the mashed potato? Like butter or milk? I find it difficult to mould into nice n smooth shape like yours

Hi Shirleen :) I think it could be the type of potato used. I used either Russet Potatoes or Japanese Potatoes as the potatoe flesh is better for making mash. You can add some butter. But I do not recommend milk as it will make it too watery. I usually add a little salt and just a little butter only. ^ ^
